The latest Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding has just landed at Ascent Training Solutions!
We’re honoured to be among the select group of RTOs authorised to deliver CSQ-funded training, including courses under the CSQ Short Course Program, CSQ Skills Assessment and Gap Training (SAGT) Program, and the Higher Qualifications Program.

Who is CSQ?
CSQ is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices, trainees and career seekers in the building and construction industry.
What Does CSQ Funding Cover?
CSQ funding at Ascent Training Solutions spans a wide range of courses designed to elevate your industry knowledge and practical skills. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance further in your career, CSQ funding can help reduce the financial burden of training. Courses and qualifications under CSQ funding include:
- Elevating Work Platform
- Personnel and Materials Hoist
- Dogging and Rigging (basic, intermediate, advanced)
- Tower Crane Operations
- Slewing Mobile Cranes (C6, C0)
- Scaffolding (basic, intermediate, advanced)
- Safety Courses such as Working Safely at Heights and Confined Spaces
- Earthmoving and Plant Operation Tickets such as Telehandler, Integrated Tool Carrier, Roller, Skid Steer, Backhoe/Loader, Excavator, Wheeled Front End Loader, Dozer, Water Vehicle, and Articulated Haul Truck
- Certificate III Qualifications in Landscape Construction, Concreting, Carpentry, Plant Operations, and Pipe Laying; and
- Certificate IV Qualification in Civil Construction Supervision.
