What does the Confined Spaces course cover?
The Confined Spaces course (RIIWHS202E) teaches you how to work safely in enclosed or restricted spaces such as tanks, pits, vessels, and ducts. You’ll cover how to identify confined space hazards, understand entry permits and safe work procedures, use atmospheric testing equipment, and respond to emergencies including rescue procedures. Training includes both theory and practical components, and all study materials are provided on the day.
Ascent also offers a combined Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmospheres course (RIIWHS202E + MSMWHS217) for workers who need both units — contact us for details.
What do I receive once I complete the Confined Spaces course?
On successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS202E issued by Ascent Training Solutions, along with a Confined Spaces operator card. The Statement of Attainment is your formal proof of competency and is the document you’ll need to present to employers and principal contractors.
