Where can I get my Advanced Rigging Ticket in Brisbane?

What are the prerequisites for the Advanced Rigging course?
Rigging Intermediate is a mandatory prerequisite. This requirement may be met by either the successful completion of the unit CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level or holding a valid RI licence. You need to be 18 years or older, have basic English literacy, and bring three forms of eligible evidence of identity (EOI).
What does Advanced Rigging include that Intermediate doesn’t?
Advanced Rigging covers all Basic and Intermediate rigging competencies plus gin poles and shear legs, flying foxes and cable ways, guyed derricks and structures, suspended scaffolds, and fabricated hung scaffolds. It qualifies you for the most complex rigging operations undertaken in high-rise construction, major infrastructure, and heavy industry.
How long does the full Rigging pathway take from Dogging to Advanced?
The full rigging pathway (DG, RB, RI and RA) involves four separate courses. Each course requires successful completion and licensing before progressing to the next level. Contact Ascent Training Solutions to discuss your current qualifications and plan the fastest pathway to your target licence.
Is there a fee to apply for my High Risk Work Licence after the course?
Yes – after successfully completing the course, you apply directly to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) for your HRWL. There is an additional government fee payable to WHSQ for the licence application. You must apply within 60 days of completing your assessment with Ascent Training Solutions.
